Bridge of Earn Community Sport Hub is a local group consisting of representatives from local sport clubs (tennis, bowls, canoeing and football), the Community Council, Forgandenny & Dunbarney Parish Church and Live Active’s Sport Development Team. They aim to develop and improve the offer of sport and physical activity in the local area. At the moment the hub is concentrating on ensuring all members of the community have access to the sports on offer. The hub are also particularly keen to promote all organisations and groups delivering sport and physical activity in the area to ensure everyone knows the various activities on offer. The PDF below has a list of all the activities and clubs operating in the area!
Community Sport Hubs are a legacy of the 2014 commonwealth games. There is now 200 across Scotland helping develop sport in their area. Bridge of Earn Community Sport Hub are welcoming to any new members that would like to come along, whether attached to an organisation or not.
