Adult Learning

Perth & Kinross Council Communities Service has launched an on-line learning, The Adult Learning Hub, facilitated by community workers:

“Perth and Kinross Council’s Communities Team has launched a number of free online courses.

The courses offer a range of new skills which could help people looking at volunteering, maintaining their well-being and improving their English as a second language.

Anyone age 16 or over can sign up for the online courses. “

Adult learning is key to us and with the current restrictions on face to face contact we are keen to innovate and implement new ways for people to access this important provision. Please click on the following link https://www.pkc.gov.uk/adultlearninghub for more information on the range of adult learning opportunities on offer.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), operating as Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission plc (SHET) are developing a significant number of projects in the North East and East Coast of Scotland to strengthen the network serving the region, and we would like to invite you to attend a virtual consultation session where we will present our proposals for the East Coast 400kV overhead line (OHL) upgrade project and our plans to reinforce the existing 275kV OHL to enable operation at an increased voltage of 400kV.
